Step 4

* In the middle, left of the settings page, click on “ Shipfrom locations“, then add your shipping from address.

* Use your browsers “Back” button / arrow to return to the previous menu on the Poatmwn website.

* Click on the “API Keys “

* Click “add new API key”, in the upper right hand corner.

* Click on "Account production"

* Enter your name in the Name field and 100 in the rate limit. Then click on "submit".

* On the new page that just came up, Make note of the Name and API key. Write them down on a piece of paper and set them aside. We will need them later. Be sure to get the key exactly as it is shown.

Step 6

* Close that window of the Postmen site. You should find a second window of the Postmen site still open. You should be back at the “settings”menu. Now look to the far right, in the main postmen menu, click on “Couriers”. .

* Next we will click on the USPS "setup". Note that you can also add other shippers ( UPS, FEDEX, DHL and so on ) from the link “Add account” at the bottom, right of the list, But for now we will uses USPS as it is the most common shipper.

* In the pop menu that will come up, just after you press the “setup” button. Fill in the required information.

* Note: Under “Description” I put “ USP By: Postmen “ so I would know where it was being used. As you can use Postmen with other aps as well.

* Continue to fill out the needed information, and click save when done.
